Text

YES, I ENJOY CHESS was part of a group exhibition on the theme of chess initiated by the visual artist Lexi Fleurs, who invited a wide range of local and international artists to create their own interpretation of the iconic game.

My version of chess is entirely influenced by the constant stream of images I "receive" daily through my social media algorithm. As a result, the chess pieces feature a chaotic mix of animals, art appropriations, food items, tanks, political figures, and weapons.
